Sourcing & Supply Chain

Full transparency from Cameroon's cocoa farms to the Port of Douala — traceable, ethical and quality-verified at every step.

Directly From Cameroon's Farmers

At the heart of our supply chain are over 200 smallholder farming households and 2 registered farmer cooperatives located across Cameroon's prime cocoa-producing regions. We do not buy from commodity brokers — every kilogram of cocoa we export is traceable to a named farmer or cooperative in our network.

Our farmer relationships are built on fair pricing — consistently above market floor — combined with technical support through Good Agricultural Practice (GAP) training and access to inputs. We cover approximately 800 hectares of cultivated cocoa land with an average farm size of 2–4 hectares per household.

Women farmers are actively included in our cooperative structures, and we hold a strict zero-tolerance policy on child labour, verified through regular supply chain monitoring.

From Farm to Export — Step by Step

01

Farm Harvest

Cocoa pods harvested by hand from farms across Centre, South, Littoral and Southwest regions. Only fully ripe pods are selected.

02

Procurement

Our field agents collect beans directly from farmers at pre-agreed above-market prices. Traceability records maintained per farm.

03

Fermentation

Controlled fermentation for 5–7 days in wooden boxes, developing the essential flavour precursors that define premium Cameroon cocoa.

04

Sun-Drying

Beans are spread on raised drying tables and sun-dried to achieve moisture content of ≤8%, preventing mould and ensuring shelf life.

05

Cleaning & Grading

At SOGECAF, Bonaberi Douala — beans are cleaned, sorted and graded. Defective beans are removed. Grade assigned per ONCC standards.

06

Quality Testing

Independent laboratory analysis by La Griffe Douala verifies moisture content, defect percentage and grade before export clearance.

07

Bagging & Warehousing

Approved beans bagged in 60–65 kg new jute bags. Stored in certified warehouses with capacity exceeding 800,000 MT.
